Lemieuxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx!

I kind of like watching the draft with no worries really.

Trust in the scouts no matter what unless it's another Hickey or Teubert

Among forwards who may be around at #29, I like Bleakley, Goldobin, Lemieux, or Magyar in that order.

The list for available defensemen is less attractive, and I'm not so sure of Honka will be available at #29. The only other option to consider on D in the 1st at that spot would be McKeown.

Anyone streaming this? I'm currently in the UK and I've got no access to TSN or NHL network.

Where are you? I've been there the past three summers, and it's really strange not to be there now. I miss it.

What trade brought Ottawa's pick to Anaheim? The Bobby Ryan deal?

Probably a dumb question but why aren't the Kings picking 30th?

Devils got their first round pick back from the whole Kovalchuk fiasco. The punishment was drafting last. Lame, I know.

After taking the 1st round pick away from New Jersey the NHL threw them a bone and gave them the last pick in the 1st round with the stipulation that they can't trade it.

I remember how much I looked forward to the draft. It seemed like the lone bright spot for many years.

New Jersey originally lost this years pick due to the kovalchuk situation. But the NHL lifted that sanction. Thus giving them the 30th pick regardless of where they really finished last regular season. So the kings get to pick 29th instead of 30th. Which is cool i guess, I think there is some prestige picking 30th as the cup champs.

I could care a less, we moved up one spot for free and are still Cup champs. I like that.

I hope the Kings take Luc Snuggerud. Big fan of his. Actually, I've never heard of him but I want a "Snuggerud" jersey snuggy.

What's the board consensus on Ho-Sang and DeAngelo? Available at 29? Worth picking?

Doty is big on Ho-Sang. Ron is big on Hoe-slapping.

The Kings would be the last team to draft H-Sang,I bet he goes to Edmonton.

I am guessing Dougherty, Lemieux,McKeown,or Quenneville

The consensus is 'yuck, attitude,' and I don't really disagree. But I am big on Ho-Sang. I don't think he even makes it to 29, TBH. Bold claim, I know, but I think a team with multiple firsts/high picks takes him before we even get to think about it.

Is he the son of Dave Snuggerud of the early-mid 90's, former Sabre, Flyer and Shark? Jeebus, I'm getting old.
