If the "ticket, schedule, etc." bar was navy, I wouldn't have any problem with the site.

its very piss poor... basically just over themed one color... a yellow.. now trust me i know a bit about over doing things in one color. I am a web designer / developer for stanley black and decker... All of our older sites are based on crap from 2002... cant even touch it... so i just make landing pages and microsites for prod launches with todays technologies and techniques... Maybe the intern was fired too with the sales people who manage that site

yellow is never good with white like that,....

@DarrenDreger: Jets will not be qualifying Keaton Ellerby.

I guess the problem wasn't Florida.

I'm a web designer too and he's absolutely right. They haven't updated their theme in years. If you look at the code, they have it set to show correctly in IE6. We're up to IE11 now. Most of the site is done with tables which haven't been very relevant over the last 5-6 years or so.

One thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of older PC's out there still with a lot of older folks who arent computer savvy. You'd be surprised at how many hits the websites get on browsers older than IE10 even. Just in the last 12 months, you can see that people are still using version of IE as 8, 9, 10 & 11.

Regardless of how the sites HTML is setup, it's still FUGLY. IE6 doesn't force you to make ugly ass designs.

There's no way that IE6 should still be supported at this point, right? That's 5 versions behind, yeesh. The Panthers (and I'm sure other teams) have notoriously done a sub-par job with their site. I don't think they invest a whole lot into it. It's amazing they even got into the "social media" aspect this past season, but they're not exactly worried about the cusp of technology.

I was sick of the butt jokes on Twitter within an hour after the news was released. It's always something around the NHL.

If you've ever played hockey, you appreciate the saying:

Hockey Players: Gayest straight guys around.

Every hockey team I've ever played on has been pretty gay acting lol. I cracked up when I read this.

As long as you just keep him around for one season, he'll be fine.

His career here nosedived after shoulder surgery. He was fine in VAN but he just had surgery again.

4th-line/scratch/AHL'er

Soft as butter. Has the ability to get luke warm for a few games, but then will fizzle out and disappear the rest of season. You'll forget he's even on the roster until the shootout. Not a locker room guy at all. Keeps to himself most of the time. Not one single attribute sticks out except his shootout ability, which is slightly better than average. Good luck.
