Yeah did the same move at Panthers Dev camp last month. Slick and sneaky lol. This was much faster though.

Not sure why shooters need to create all these fancy dekes. Look at Boyes, he just mixes two moves.. fake backhand forehand and fake forehand backhand. Works like a charm.

Well, the shootout is partially for entertainment after all...

Barkov just posted this pic of Facebook. Is it just me or does it look like he's filled out his frame a lot from last season?

Maybe it's just the angle, but his face looks a lot less baby-like than it did last year.

Looks like he's been hitting the bench press.

I saw the picture and thought the exact same thing. Kid's been hitting the weights this offseason.

His legs don't look small at all. Look at his thighs, they aren't small at all.

Yeah his quads are pretty huge in that pic. They look like an extra kneecap in that pic.

That's crazy. I was about to post that his thighs look huge. He will be strong as hell next season already, and he hasn't yet turned 19. Just think how strong he'll be in his mid 20's.

I don't think he's gotten much heavier though, more or less just turned some bodyfat into muscle mass.

Trouble with phone pics is it's always a wide-angle, one reason his head looks small (goofy hat the other) and front leg/thigh a bit bigger.

He certainly looks more solid. Beauty of being 18, so easy to heal and/or add muscle.

Compare that to:

If I am an eastern conference coach/GM I am looking at Bark/Bjug this year and then crying uncontrollably. How do you even begin to deal with that?

Bark/Bjug need to add NHL quickness and speed to their overall games. You saw a little bit of pep from Bjug here and there last year, but I still think they both need that element before coaches begin to worry. Of course I'm paraphrasing, but Babcock said that he liked the direction we're heading in and something to that effect last season.

Yeah his thighs and ass are huge for an 18 old. Definitely has added some upperbody mass this summer, looks pretty jacked too compared to last year with the babyfat gone.

I remember seeing hearing that last year in the games against the Wings that were filmed for the tv shows.

Barkov for sure. If stays injury free, expect him to put up some good points. The only concern is that he gets injured again.
