No, but I heard speculations about Samaras and Karagounis.

I don't know why, but I always loved the way Samaras plays.

On another subject, Jérémy Gagnon-Laparé signed a contract to turn PRO today. Kid's from around here, Magog I believe, good news. The more players formed by the Academy, the merrier!

Salpingidis actually would be quite the replacement for MDV. Would definitely agree with that move.

Also, Jackson-Hamel probably is next on the list of players that'll get their pro contract

Well Jack Mac is 21 and has a boatload of talent, he won't stay here for long.

This. DP money won't make him stay unless its over 1 million I believe. Teams in Europe will easily offer him anything in between 400-800K

Jac Mac has looked WAY better in 4-4-2 situations though. He's not the lone striker type. I would love a Kenny Cooper type forward next to him, a big dude that's good with headers.

This is exactly the kind of situation we have to avoid if we want to push the league further (talentwise). Most teams have young DPs from other countries but here is a chance to keep a local talent. With Bradley & Dempsey in this league, it shouldnt be very hard to convince him to stay. Offer him around 800k-1M, give him the number 9. It could be a huge marketing boost, an USMNT striker with Montreal. If only New England did this with Agudelo...

We all know he wont stay for too long, but at least develop him to a better player so he could have a higher value and would not sit on a bench.

Basically do what LA did with Omar Gonzalez.

Exactly. Pay him accordingly and he has no reason to leave whatsoever. Anyways a higher salary will only gather more attention towards him and if we decide to transfer him, better the chances are that team will have to pay up BIG.
