He has been a national hero and arguably the best player in the WC recent few years. Excellent playmaker.

I didn't know about him untill now but I must say I kind of like what I saw from one of his highlights. He's 6ft 197 lbs so he's got the frame for the NHL, decent wrister and good hands. His stats aren't too shabby either. The only question is how well his game will translate to the NHL, he might end up becoming Roman Cervenka 2.0.

It's the first time I have ever heard of him. I am sure some team would take a flyer on him.

This guy made some major steps after his first tryout in the NHL. Been the number 1 center for Finland in the WCs the past years and just seems to be on that top tier of players on European ice. Should find a team and make it this time.

Late bloomer.

He would be a decent NHL'er, I have no doubts about that.

With the money restrictions, might be the best alternative.

T Teravainen would probably be delighted to see this Senior Finn in the org.

Give him a 1/4 of a season and he would be acclimatized to NA style as he already has a lot of exposure previously.

I think he has the toolset to center virtually any of the four lines. Obviously, in the NHL, 2nd or 3rd would most likely be his case.

Would he be considered a solid two way forward? How is his defensive play?

His best qualities come to surface when he has the puck. But he is the poster boy and definition of the Finnish Style of Hockey, which is two-way, defense first kind of play. He just has more hands than most.

Champagne taste, Beer pocket.

The Chicago Blackhawks can't afford Paul Stastny.
