Wait...wait...now we WANT Parise and Koivu to share a line? But yeah, I want Vanek and Pom together.

Parise-Koivu-Coyle has at times been one of our best lines, I'd be completely fine with that.

Good deal, now a little muscle on the back end would be nice.

I'm sceptic about Vanek but I can live with this deal.

Good job Fletcher.

Loving all the hate Vanek is getting by Canadian fans for his sub par playoff performance. It's alright Montreal, we're perfectly happy with the player we're getting, thanks.

Vanek is not the fastest guy in the world, but he's not nearly as slow as Moulson is or Iginla would've been for us. Nother thing we got going for us.

amazing signing by Fletcher. unreal great contract for the club.

as for how the lines will shake down, I don't care, our top 6 actually looks like it can score and the better part, I love our 3rd line. the top 3 lines on paper can legitimately score, and play solid two way hockey.

we just need to pray that Harding will be healthy for the playoffs

Vanek has 556 points in 663 games played, but yet he sucks because of the 17 playoff games in a season where he was traded twice......ok.

there isn't one fan base or GM that wouldn't have loved to have Vanek at these terms, despite how he played in Montreal. They, would have welcomed him back with open arms if this contract were possible with them, or any other club

Just coming here to say that Fletcher is the man. Seriously, what a great GM we have. We got an UFA star forward on a short term and very decent cap hit. And we were his #1 destination too. Because of the previous moves of said GM. Love it.

Our forward lineup is sexy. Now just get a replacement for Stoner, maybe a 4th line physical plug and we're set. Bring on the Division of Doom.

TennaB just went through his "ideal lines" on the radio, and they are... quite terrible.

Keränen could be a dark horse, too But not on the 4th line, though.

Dislike how Coyle is just going to automatically get the nod over Nino on the lines. Coyle had every advantage yet Nino had better production.

This is an unreal contract. Fletcher just keeps getting better and better, although I think circumstances played in his favor this time.

He doesn't know any more than the rest of us do. He just happens to be on the radio.

Me too. I write mine as Nino/Coyle. I think it would be best for both of them if they had to legitimately battle for that spot. I do think Coyle could win it though; he was great coming out of camp last year.

If it was legitimate then Yeo wouldn't have a job. Yes, I just said that.

Oh my that was hideous! He and Mick suggested Parise and Vanek (both LWs) should skate together, then Tenna B said he'd put Coyle at 2C. That email they read where the guy bashed them was priceless. I can't imagine how bad the ratings were on the Progrum today.

Although I didn't need to hear them speculate about Mike Green's availability. Not like their random talk gets me too excited, but that's the one guy I think the Wild should really target with Vanek in the bag.

Yeo will only ever play favorites. Nino only gets a 'fair' nod over Coyle if Coyle is hurt.
