Remember Neil toured with Pearl Jam and Sonic Youth just to name a few. Plus remember Kurt's death note - "It's better to burn out than fade away" Classic Neil Young.

But you're right on the rest of it. Same song as the quote above "Is this the story of Johnny Rotten"

But I imagine you know most of this.
Completely forgot Young until I was doing my list just now.

And to tell you the truth, though I know the details in the whole psychological aspect, and what his lyrics meant etc, I've never heard any quotes off of Kurt's suicide note, and this is actually the first I've heard of it.

And for a final note, I like the Band, listne to their stuff, they're just a level down from I suppose what I consider my "favourites" which I have about 60 of.

It took me a while to figure that one out myself. I couldn't believe I overlooked it for so long.

12 minutes is the longest I think I've heard for a Floyd song and I've never thought of that as a bad thing.

Floyd are defintely mastercraftsmen for music. Gilmour and Watters' work on the Wall and Dark Side of the Moon is quite simply put, almost beyond belief. Easily two of the most storied and greatest albums in history.

Brilliant.

I considered adding them to the list and then realised I don't like their music and it would pretty much be a pity position.

Still, you gotta admit, as much as the band sucks, the one armed drummer is pretty awesome. Mind you, knowning me if I was part of the band I'd probably make drumroll jokes just for the sake of being an *******.

Perhaps one of the greatest Pink Floyd songs rings in at 13:33. There are a couple lengthy ones in the pre-Gilmour era too (Syd Barrett). Even though I love the Wall for a couple of its songs, it sounds too much like a Watters solo album.

geez, I didnt say I didnt like other stuff, holy crap. I also like bands like:

Nirvana
System of a Down
AC/DC
Pantera
Alice in Chains
Our Lady Peace

any many others, I know TDG was influenced by the grunge movement, and I even like many other types of music outside rock, it just so happens that I really like TDG, I cant help it, I just do.

I hate the Tragically Hip, horrible band, heavily over-rated by Canadians.

And I'm going to sheepishly admit that I've never heard a Kim Mitchell song.

Alrighty, fair enough.

I was tired and went off on a friendly rant. I despise modern music (along with MTV) too much not to.

Wellwood needs a scoring role while stajan can play a defensive role as you seen him perform well last year with half *** players and 4th line minutes.

Perhaps but when working with players this young don't you think trying to maximize both their development and play would be best. Giving Stajan fourth line minutes would be a major mistake for the future.

Nope, though I think my dad has some of his stuff off iTunes.

I'm definitely still a student in music's history.

Sorry, I was setting you up for that. Max Webster was Kim Mitchell's band's name.

You may not realize it, but I'm sure you've heard some of Kim Mitchell's songs. Patio Lanterns, Go For a Soda, Million Vacations, I Am a Wild Party.... All good tunes.

I like Kim Mitchell, but I admit I don't know a heck of a lot about him myself.

Well played, didn't see that one coming at all.

Edit: Brought it up and started playing the tracklist. I'm impressed already.
