Sharks - Ottawa?

Here are the tweets:

@Eklund: I am hearing the San Jose Sharks are mulling over a fairly big trade offer. Should have more details soon

@Eklund: Sounds like no sharks trade tonight...this one will likely get done...looks like Ottawa is the leading candidate for a trade partner.

Take it with a grain of salt.

Hopefully this big trade would involve Niemi, Kennedy and Sheppard. Otherwise, SJ doesn't want anything from OTT

What are Sharks looking for? It has to be a D. They are stacked with forwards.

Phillips?

Sure hope Eklund is right for a change. But I'm not holding my breath.

We'll give you Niemi, Kennedy, and a 2016 4th for Karlsson. Done?

No Doug Wilson has said he isn't getting old guys to take spots from young players.

We already traded Ludwig Karlsson to the Stars. You'll have to ask them.

They'll trade for clarkson and get him to protect Phillips when they play musical chairs

Wiercioch maybe? Shark fans have always claimed an interest in the 6'5" left handed pmd who can play the right side

Why don't you get over it and trade a 1st? If you add Karlsson to what you already have I'm pretty sure you're not going to have a lottery pick anyway.

I think he was joking. If you would take that offer if the 4th was changed to a 1st, then I'm not so sure about you.

If I had to guess I'd say something close to Scott for Turris and Karlsson.

Make it 2074, they're obviously gunna win the cup in 72

Murray tried to acquire Marleau in the past but the deal was nixed by Redden. Maybe he still covets the forward

Wouldn't you rather trade the last pick in the draft though? I hear that 2074 is a really deep draft year! In 2072, there's a major drop off after the first round.

Just pitching an idea here, not taking anything into consideration, but what about a Ryan Couture base
