Why is everyone only talking about his talent? How about his character?

Wouldn't a party city like Winnipeg be the best place for a guy like him?

(no offense, it's just a joke)

I don't see why the Rangers can't just throw a cheap two way 1 year deal his way. They desperately need a second line center.

Might be the last player in the world I'd want mentoring our young guys.

Everyone likes to get on their high horse and balk about his issues.

He's a decent hockey player. If your team is thin on C, you weigh your options with him

$1m 1 year deal for the Caps, try him out 3rd or 2nd line centre whichever works. He played well last time round

No body is arguing his talent, it's his character in question. He has had issues almost all of his career so the people who on their high horse and balk about his issues have every good reason to.

I'm not denying that, but right now I believe his issues far surpass his talent.

Honestly I wouldn't. I feel pretty confident arco can get 40-50 points as a full time 2C while winning faceoffs and playing better two way hockey. That's not even getting into the off ice issues he's been facing his entire career. Wouldn't touch this guy with a 10' pole.

KHL. Only a salary floor team would be dumb enough to take him.

Maybe Dallas at a stupid low price.

If the problems are of the variety alluded to he should probably take some time away from the game. The time away will also open up different opportunities when/if he comes back, assuming the problems are "fixed".

And I repeat... he was very well liked in Washington and had no issues with his team or coaches. A model citizen that everyone seemed to want back.

He hasn't been a cancer to EVERY team he's been with.

Yes he should. His family and life are more important than the game of hockey.

Vancouver has several million in cap and no 2nd line center. They should absolutely sign the guy to a 1 year. If it doesn't work out, no big risk. If it does, good outcome for both player and team, as he'd get paid again next summer for a couple years you'd think.

Plus everyone could make jokes about how he's right at home on the Canucks dive dive dive lol.

I get the time off idea if he's 28, but he's 34. If he leaves now his career is done.

Dude's a great player but unfortunately he's a bit of a locker room nuisance. Think he'll end up with Nashville.

Canes should offer him a 1-year deal like they did with Semin to see how he is.

Carolina need to improve soon, as theyre going absolutely nowhere fast. When your 2nd best line consists or J.Staal, Tlusty, and Gerbe, you should seek help..... Their prospects arent too promising either after Lindholm and Fleury..... and they shouldve taken Nylander or Ehlers!

well, they should have a decent chance at McDavid or Eichel next June

Not trying to be a smart ass but I think Ribs "passed" first.

I would take him back on the Caps in a heartbeat at around 1 or 2 years and no more than 2 mil per.
