Will hit it
Bolland: was on pace for a 33 goal season last year before he got injured, so 20 goals shouldnt be a problem if he stays healthy.
Jokinen: Should hit 20 goals if he plays with Barkov.
Pirri: He will suprise alot of ppl.

Close to 20
Boyes: Less time on the first line this season
Huby: Time to bounce back.
Flash: He's playing for a contract.

I think Flash & Huby both bounce back and hit this mark.

Don't see why the following shouldn't be 20 goal scorers:

Jokinen
Boyes
Barkov
Fleischmann
Huberdeau
Bolland
Bjugstad

If Huberdeau and Barkov don't score 20, they should have at least 35-40 assists each.

In a perfect world, yes. But you have to account for injuries and you have to account for Fleischmann's.

We have a weird forward roster in which (besides Thorton) everyone has the potential to hit 20 goals.

Was thinking the same thing. There are 7-8 guys who realistically could pot 20. Although I don't think any of them are guaranteed of doing it, so we could also potentially have no 20 goal scorers.

If huberdeau doesnt score 20 goals next season I will be really disappointed and may start labeling him a bust. He better come guns blazing. No excuses...

Very True -
A lot is based on what if scenarios, such as playing time, linemates, and PP time.

But here are the guys who are capable of doing it:

Huberdeau,
Flash
Jokinen
Boyes
Bjugstad

Guys who I don't think have proven it yet:

Barkov (not because he can't, but because he has not scored a .25 Goal per game clip at the NHL level yet)
Pirri
Bolland

It's 12, for sure.

Boyes and Bjugstad for sure if they play the full season. Barkov, Jokinen, Pirri and Hubby certainly could if things go their way. Even Hayes, if they stick him on the PP, has the ability.

I know I am always ragging on Flash but I just don't see it in him anymore. Him and Bergy in the 12 range with Bolland.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Huby only scored 9 goals last season, and 33 goals is a lot, Sidney Crosby only scored 36 last year. I'd max him out at around 25.

I definitely think 33 is getting ahead of ourselves, but don't forget... in 2/3rds the amount of games he scored 5 more goals the season prior.

Also, that point about Sidney Crosby is so entirely irrelevant. You say that as though you benchmark Sidney as the greatest. Max Pacioretty scored 39, and was just a shade over half of Sidney's overall points output.

Bjugstad and Jokinen are the only two I see having a very good chance to hit the 20 goal mark.

Boyes, Bergenheim, Upshall, Huberdeau, Flash, and Barkov might do it or at least come close.
