I think the 50 point benchmark is an almost guarantee this season. He loves to play for Yawney and the feeling is mutual. He will be getting much more responsibility and offensive freedom, Yawney is not a dump and chase no skill coach like Sputter.
I think it is possible for him to develop into a 60 or 70+ point power forward in the next few years, but it is just as likely that he will be a consistant 50 point threat. If you compare his career to Bertuzzi's in terms of point development, Bell is progressed further than Bert was at the same age. But Bell still doesnt have the size or skill to ever be the next Bertuzzi IMO, a 3/4 version of the same player is probably his max potential. I think Doan is a more valid comparison.
