The War at Home

Anyone watching/watch this on FOX? Worst new sitcom I've seen in awhile, so very bad. This will last about three episodes.

I watched the opening five minutes. I lost interest when I saw that dude dressed in a womens wear and acting all homo.

Agree. Horrible. Just horrible. It doesn't help things that I can't stand Michael Rapaport

Actually had some hilarious moments.

I was surprised but it was funnier than Family Guy tonight.

Weak Family Guy episode but American Dad made up for it with a solid episode. Some very funny one liners from Haley and Stan's boss.

The War At Home is a cookie cutter Fox sitcom. Dysfunctional Family, Laugh Track, Hot Daughter, Flamboyant Son, Michael Rappaport, Racism and Homophobia. Fits the bill.

The daughter is very hot though, so I'll give it 6 episodes before it goes the way of Luis and Oliver Beene.

I actually like Rapaport in certain things. He's got a goofy delivery, that makes for an interesting supporting character. I liked him in some of the Woody Allen work he's done, and even his role in Boston Public. I can't believe that they would build a sitcom around him though. He's not edgy, and he's not likeable.

I saw a few minutes of this last night. It's an inferior version of the cancelled Titus, from what I can gather. That show at least had some bite to it.

I wouldn't say it was funnier than the new Family Guy...two quotes had me nearly dying:

Brian on a date? That's even more pathetic than the time I played marco polo with Helen Keller

Brian walks into the Clam:

Brian: Hey Peter
Peter: Hey
Brian: Where's James Woods?
Peter: Turns out he's not very good at catching things with his mouth. Where's your girlfriend?
Brian: Same problem

It was funnier than the new Simpsons though...I thought that was pretty lame

I thought the Simpsons was great, very funny episode. Family Guy and American Dad were both good as well.

Laugh tracks pretty much make shows unbearable for me as it is, but the standard cliche tv family puts the final nail in the coffin of suckiness.

The dad is actually funny in some things I've seem him in, but from what I saw of this show, it brings nothing new and isn't worth watching.

South Park got funny after the 90's. It's been great since around 2000.

The best part of Family Guy was him insulting Christina Aguilera. Just wow. I was rolling on the floor on that one.

In fact, I may have been laughing or in other simpler terms "rofl"

I thought the episode started weak, but ended strong.

Yeah, I did like him in Mighty Aphrodite, but he pretty much plays the same character in all of his other roles.

I liked the show better when it was called "Grounded For Life". Fox pretty much ripped off a show it cancelled and it was picked up by the WB.
