...you must remember this is the Globe, and thier 3/4 of a page sports section ...most of which is golf.

...they did a decent job with Ottawa and Vancouver ...but Amonte for Calgary is as bad as Khavanov for us ...and ...well, it's the globe.

...and it's pretty cool how Tomas Plekanec is on both Montreal and Vancouver too!

That's about right. I fully expect Khavanov to out score Sundin and take over his captaincy by the end of the season.

That is the most poorly formatted analysis I've ever seen, but besides that...

When did Alex Steen turn into a LW? He's always been a center. He is a natural center.

Apparently Daniel Alfredsson has finally solved the depth at centre problem in Ottawa and is practicing his faceoffs.

take it as a compliment to Khavanov, even though it's silly to place him ahead of McCabe.

still, Khavanov's game is highly respected by many people.

Did Sluggo write that article ??

He once claimed he worked out with G&B writer Dave Shoalts so he may have been the source of the research and info provided .

Sorry Buppy ..

Your sound level of hockey knowledge and strong contributions to the HF Leafs board completely eliminates you from the suspects list as possible Sluggo aliases.

Oh wait I just realised the top 5 doesn't include goalies it's only 3 forwards and 2 defenders.

still in that case then

Sundin
O'Neill
Lindros
McCabe
Kaberle

Sundin

Lindros
McCabe
Kaberle

That was easy.

You know, assuming Allison and Lindros play a full season... which is not at all assured, we have a sickening amount of depth down the middle.
Lindros could be the #1 Center for a fair number of teams... and he's our #3 guy.

Three Centers, that are all capable of a pt/game.
We have a deluge of other players that can play Center as well.

Pity one of Lindros or Allison couldn't magically change into a Winger....

I think Lindros spent time on the right side in new york.

I don't see heatley being more productive than Havlat.

also, zednik > ryder

leafs list not bad except for khavanov, replace with mccabe or oneill
