it's worth noting that this guy makes robo look like john madden or mike peca. soft as a baby's bum and disinterested in anything that goes on in the defensive zone.
which one skates well? ... major plus for Trotz' system, which one is small and is easily manhandled one on one, and which one is a faceoff specialist?
Let's see both Robo and Perreault are small, easily manhandled one on one.
According to scouting reports like forecasters Beech skates well for his size, but won't be mistaken for a good skater. So I'd say Robo is the better skater but that doesn't mean he fits Trotz system better as he doesn't use his speed defensively, either.
Perreault is better offensively and at face-offs but older, slower and weaker
Robo is the fastest of the three, has good face-off skills but still weak defensively
Beech is the slowest, strongest and has the highest ceiling but least experience.

I'd also say that beech is the best defensively and not terrible offensively, thus making him trotz's early choice.
