Hopkinator, Other Opeth Fans

I need songs to download. A friend just sent me Drapery Falls over MSN and I'm hooked. The *******'s going to see them live too.

Anyways, any Opeth fans who have any suggestions for songs of theirs to listen to, list 'em.

Opeth has a heavy side, and a lighter, acoustic side.

Here's some good ones.

Karma
Forest of October
The Funeral Portrait
A Fair Judgement
The Leper Affinity

Acoustic
Windowpane
Credence
Patterns In the Ivy II
Harvest
To Rid The Disease
In My Time of Need
Death Whispered A Lullaby
To Bid You Farewell
Hope Leaves
Weakness
Dirge For November
Still Day Beneath the Sun

If you were to buy one of their albums, I'd go with My Arms, Your Hearse. That's probably their "heaviest" album, but it also has some of their best soft, acoustic parts. The song "Credence" is an all-acoustic track off the album, and it's probably my favorite all-acoustic track. "Benighted," off of Still Life is right up there as well. Definitely check that one out. Songs that I would suggest to a new Opeth fan are:

(in this order)
1. To Bid You Farewell
2. Credence
3. Face of Melinda
(these 3 have all clean vocals, now for some of Mikael's death vocals)
4. Advent
5. When
6. The Amen Corner
7. Karma
8. Ghost of Perdition (Off their new album, Ghost Reveries)
9. The Moor
10. Blackwater Park

And I'll be seeing Opeth at the Worcester Palladium on October 30th. Nevermore will be the opener. I like Nevermore a lot, but I think I'd rather see Pelican open for Opeth. But Pelican is only on the first half of the tour. Oh well, should be an awesome show either way.

Had my friend shoot over another few (Blackwater Park, Harvest, Bleak) and so far Bleak is my favourite of the bunch. I'm definitely getting hooked in on them.
