Monarchs Best Line Combos

I was wondering what will be the best lines combo's for the Monarchs? I don't really know the team and also the players who will be in team this season!!

Someone has a clue?

the following have monarchs message boards:

ahlboards.com

nhsportsradio.com

http://s10.invisionfree.com/AHLBoards2/
(a/k/a ahlboards 2)

monarchsboosters.com (link on the left side)

by far, the AHL boards is the one visited by most local fans.

I just got back from an interview with the Monarchs for a game-day crew job. Not too many applied, so I just have to go to a rink next week and show them I can skate and then they'll hire me.

Who's going to be on the team this year?

I assume Camallerri will be in LA and Garon's probably starting for the Kings. From what I gather, Hauser will start. Is the Japanese goalie going to play in the AHL? Is Brian Boyle going to be on the Monarchs? I saw him at BC and think he's going to be very good. What are the chances of the likes of Tukonen and Kopitar come over?

Boyle's going to be starting his Junior year (If I'm not mistaken), so the earliest he'll be in Manchester is 2006-07. That's assuming, of course, he decides for forego his Senior year.

Tukonen *should* be in Manchester this year, along with Tambellini and Petiot.

Kopitar will spend this season in Sweden.

The goaltending duo in Manchester will *probably* be Hauser/Brust. Although Fukufuji's having a pretty great training camp so he might just take Brust's job! That would put Brust and Munce in Reading (probably).

Here are what the lines in Manchester might look like:

Tambellini / Tukonen / Pushkarev

Clarke / Bernakavitch / Kanko (though in truth, I know not if Bernie is a Center)

James / Ryan / Hogeboom

Flinn / Guiliano / Parros

Seeley / Petiot
Grebeshkov / Nolan
Weaver / ???

Hauser and EITHER Brust OR Fukufuji (again, Fuku's having an amazing camp....so far!)

Lucky *******.

I'll probably be interning with the Monarchs next year if all goes right.

Yeah but he probably will and end up in Manchester.

Also, Wilford and Mormina might make the Monarchs D.

Do you go to school around there? I'm at SNHU and they have some sort of partnership with internships(hence how I got the interview)

Top two scoring lines? Is "Tuk to Center" a sure thing?

Tambellini -- Tukonen -- Smyth
Clarke -- Roussin -- Pushkarev
....... -- Ryan -- .......
....... -- xxxxx -- .......

Weaver -- Grebeshkov ( Defense/Offense )
Petiot -- Wilford ( Defense/Offense )
Seeley -- Mormina ( Leftovers )

Hauser -- Brust/Fukufuji

...but it's almost pointless. The lines are mixed up frequently, and players are still developing into new roles sometimes.

I'm digging your defense combos. You know what? Even with the departure this year of Brown, Cams, Gleason, Garon, Lehoux, and Steckel, the Monarchs *might* actually have a team that's just as good or EVEN BETTER than last year! Check out the firepower:

Clarke / Tukonen / Pushkarev

Tambellini / Roussin / Smyth

Kanko / Ryan / Hogeboom

Flinn / Guiliano / Parros

And that doesn't even take into consideration James, Neilson, Stephenson, and Bernakavitch (whom a lot of people are really impressed with thus far).

I remember last season when the talent "over-flow" (if it can be called that at the minor league level) had Steckel and Guiliano going to Reading while James and Fuku went to Bakersfield. I don't know. This year it might even be WORSE! Could you see Hogeboom ending up in Reading???

In all my wisdom, I didn't take into consideration Lukacevic. Will he be going back to Spokane this year, or will he be in Manchester? Also, let's say he's good enough *not* to go back to Spokane BUT there's no room in Manchester. Does he play in Reading? Given the choice, which is better.........Spokane or Reading???

Hogeboom might be better off in Reading or wherever if he can't get a spot. He's a gifted skater, but the offense hasn't been there for him yet.

Also, I think we forgot about Brad Fast. He might make the team, too.
