Most Valuable Oiler #19

Who do you think is the next most valuable Oiler going forward?

Consider age, contract, injury history, positional value, leadership, potential, etc... One way of thinking of it would be: in a trade to a neutral team, who would bring the greatest return?

If we're talking who we could get the most for in a trade I'd go for Moroz...

In terms of helping out now, Nikitin.

Voted Arcobello again.

If he was 3 inches taller most of this fanbase would be worshipping him as a God walking the earth.

Hendricks is a good energy guy on the 4th line who is pretty responsible. Really good 4th liner. That said, Nikitin needs to be better than him next season for us, so I'm voting Nikitin. Same with Arcobello, I'll be voting for him next and then Hendricks.

Might turn out Hendricks is more valuable, but that's bad news for us!

I think people are overvaluing NHL ready players. Teddy Purcell was rumored to be bought out by TBL before the trade and now he has more trade value then guys like Moroz, Yakimov and Khaira? I think those guys if traded would garnish 2nd or 3rd round picks. I don't think Purcell or Nikitin with their ugly cap hits would get that kind of return. Arcobello is a wildcard but being a 26 years old forward and not an established NHL player I don't he has much trade value. Voting Moroz again...
