Nicholls has been weak this year throwing the ball especially early in games. it worries me a little. I still really like him as a QB and am willing to wait for him to really put it together.

Jones worries me also. While I like some trick plays and misdirection, he has to realize there is a time and place for it. I hope he isn't too stubborn to see that.

no way the esks should lose to the train wreck that is Montreal.
Are you talking about Reilly? Yes, he's been pretty average at moving the ball through the air in the first half of games this season and this will really need to improve if the team wants to be good over the long haul.

I'm sorry. Yes, I did mean Reilly.

TSC 1260 8-9 this morning was pretty well all chat with Damon Allan and James (Wild) West. It was about the best hour of sports radio ever as they reminisced. They're in town for a golf tourney.

This Riders/Bombers game has been comical.

Ridiculously undisciplined play by Saskatchewan.

What it has been so far is painful to watch. Just like almost every other game played so far this season. I love this league but it's a painful product to watch when nobody can get their offense to work. The league should keep this in mind if they ever plan on expanding again.

yeah the quality of football has been pretty horrible so far this year... reminds me why i like NCAA so much more than the CFL.... i don't like the NFL, but i certainly understand why so many people like it over the CFL

Whoever "wins" the East will be the "biggest phonies" in the CFL. Winnipeg, yeah I question them as well, but they've still won 5 games. It doesn't matter how.

In the end it will "work" itself out in the playoffs if they are just paper tigers.

As usual the commentators and media fall all over themselves about a player after 5 games (In this case Drew Wiley) and he promptly tosses three ints.

Yep. 4 wins against Eastern clubs plus caught the Lions in probably the worst game of their season.

Will ain't too good either. I keep maintaining that. Don't like his decision making, ball protection, or that he goes cold for extended periods of time.

Lots of people seem to be impressed with some comebacks. Why should you need to comeback against some of the pitiful clubs (not saying riders) that the Bombers have beat in the last minute.

Yeah I was laughing at that too. Its as if CFL has instructions for the telecasts to make Willy into some kind of great QB or something.

Through the years I'm amazed how regularly that very ordinary to terrible Bombers QB's get talked up during the telecasts. Even guys like Brink.

It's actually enjoyable watching the Eskies this year with Reilly at the helm.

Once again his lack of ability to read a defense leads to missing a dropped defender. Wake up, Reilly.

Same here.

Watching that game last night, I asked myself a good four or five times "why is TSN slobbering all over this guy?".

Another first quarter, save for the first possession, where our offense has done nothing.

Running touchdown from a long ways out.

Don't see that often from the Esks.

Defense has forgotten how to catch a ball. A few dropped INT's last week, two already this week.

Reilly so much more effective rolling out and throwing on the run.

White may put up 250 yards on the ground tonight.

That was a beautiful throw by Reilly. Great throw. Two step drop and wired into Bowman's basket. Reilly looking like his last year self there. Do it more often, dude.
