In the immortal words of Al Bundy:

Al - "Run. Run long, run hard, run deep. Run like water through a first time mexican tourist. But run."

Jefferson - "Aw, come on Al. Don't you think she's (Marcy) cute?"

Al - "RUN!"

These articles and the way the whole crew acts around here are why this board is my board of choice. The article gives me insight into a budding professional athlete. It is good to know that the Kings are so long on class. Good work David. The piece had class too.

Great job, Jeff, and equal credit to Lukacevic. Wow; that kid sure has the right head to become a future NHLer.

You know, I hate to be the homer...but yes he does. We talked at great lengths after the intial interview after I teased him about getting his hair cut. A little eager for his age, but he ultimately understands in due time. I think he puts to much pressure on himself, but I think that comes with a level of professaionalism he exhibits.

I merely picked up on his play at the 2005 camp. He increased his level of play over night, which led me to believe that we still haven't even seen his best. Overall I think speaks volumes for someone I didn't remember from the summer 2004. Trust me, I'm not the only that noticed. I was asked what I thought of him by someone in the organization. I figured at that point, my assessment of his progression was dead on. You have to give it to the guys that want it and do everything in their power to be honest, hardworking individuals.

A couple years off, but I feel he's going to be well worth the wait.

This was a great article and this is one great kid. I had a great feeling about this draft pick from everything I heard on draft day and it looks like his skill and incredible worl ethic will take him a long way.

It was announced today that Lukacevic was traded from Spokane to Swift Current.

http://www.whl.ca/headlines/?id=3195

He needs to keep his head up. He's got a good coach and system up there with the Broncos.
