For what it's worth, Laurie is apparently in the Caribbean right now - which should tell you how likely he thought a sale would be closed today.
This is what torques me off more than anything else... the fact that this rich fat cat is soaking up the sun in the Caribbean while the Blues languish in misery.
It's obvious to anyone with more than two functioning synapses that Dollar Bill Laurie doesn't give a flying you-know-what about the Blues -- he won't spend money to make them more attractive or competitive, and he (or his flunkies) keep blowing up potential sales with last-minute demands like non-refundable $10 million deposits.
I hate to wish ill of anyone, but I hope all of his teeth fall out, except the one in which he needs a root canal...

Sauer was just on KTRS. Said that in his opinion, an agreement will be reached with a buyer within a month.
Said that once that is done, it will probably take till the end of the season before the deal is fully completed and the changeover is complete.
