Im from England and i was wondering if Ranger games are avaliable to watch through a streaming service of some kind or downloadable. free or fee.

Also if any other Brits know how much coverage there will be in the UK. i know channel 5 used to show a few games a week but do they still plan to? any other channels sky sports ETC?

Taz. Trust me. Get NASN if you can. It seems they are even airing pre-season games: http://www.nasn.com/content/nasn/cms...tent/index-nhl

Aside from showing the NHL this season, they are apparantly keeping NCAA hockey on their schedule as well

I've had NASN on my NTL every once in a while and it's looking extremely likely that I will be tempted to add it for the winter again.

The NHL has a free streaming audio of every game on NHL.com, and this year the AHL will have webcasts of all AHL games for a few bucks a game.

Didn't the deal with OLN also include some sort of web-streaming package?

I'm in Japan right now so I'd also like to figure out a way to watch a couple games here and there.

slingbox!

http://www.slingmedia.com/

If anyone hasn't tried this, it is a MUST have for people wanting to watch local tv remotley. The SlingBox connects to the A/V connections of a TV and an ethernet jack, and doing this allows you to stream what that TV is playing to any computer at home or around the globe! My friend has it as a toy and the installation and setup is quite simple, and the quality of video is pretty amazing. You can only stream to one user at the time so not to violate any copyright laws.

I personally don't have a practical use for it, but I would assume this would be an excellent tool for Rangers fans wanting to watch MSG but can't because they are not in the NY area. All you would need is a fellow fan in the NY area [pref. one who has NHL center ice as well hehehe] to buy this for and have him set it up. Maybe we can set up some sort of buddy system on this board.
