The forwards don't do too much for me, but the defence and goaltending is pretty damn nice.

What do you guys feel would be a bigger risk...a team waiting till the offseason to try and get those guys, considering they could resign during the season, and there be a weak batch of players left; or a team trading for them now (considering they could come somewhat cheaper considering they are UFAs next year) and then they possibly not resigning with the team the next year?

Mattias Norstrom(although I firmly believe he will end his career in L.A.), Jeremy Roenick. I can't think of any others on the Kings.

Better than decent! That team looks better than any in the league.

3006 eligibility? Must all be contract offers from Milbury

Why is Mara UFA? He's 26 next summer and will have played 7 NHL seasons.

i would say the forwards aren't the strongest bunch but alot of good defensemen and goalies.

i also think since alot of teams might not have cap space these guys might go for cheaper values next year(ie somebody who went for 4 million this year might go for 3.5 million next year)

At this point in time, Rob Blake and Joe Sakic are scheduled to be UFAs as well.

Although I cannot imagine the Avs allowing Sakic to walk, Blake is a definitely possibility.
