I am just curious where those people are who said that Kipper was better than Luongo.

They're not here at The Happy Girl Bar and Grill.

They're hiding on the Calgary boards.

Aww, man! Why did Calgary go and do that?!?!?!? I HATE Mushmouth, and I really like the Flames. Gag! I had to watch him play on the same team as Nieuwy last year, and I really thought when Toronto didn't re-sign him, he'd just slither away and retire.

Where's the "barf" smiley when you need one?

Nieuwy25 - Yummy pic of Joey! Where did you get that?

Completely agree with you about mush. The only good news is that Joey won't have to see mush this year unless they meet up in the Cup finals. If that happens, hopefully Calgary will have enough sense NOT to play him.

Yeah, I saw that a little while ago. What a *********. I would be so embarrassed to have someone on my team pull that crap. If I were a Ref in that game I would have given him 10 for unsportsmanlike. That'd wipe that stupid little dance of the ice.

I was amazed - I never knew he actually had any moves on ice other than running his mouth.

Google images . . . . it's from a radio interview in his Dallas days. Jamie was also in the picture but I had to crop it down and resize it.

Yeah! I found it. Very exciting! Why is it that Joe always looks so innocent and Jamie always looks like the devilish wild one? I won't use it as my avatar. Thanks! You rock Nieuwy25!

Washington v Carolina

Wallin just scored a goal for Washington. OK so he plays for Carolina. Delayed penalty against Washington - Carolina goalie skates to bench - Wallin shoots the puck into his own net. Eric Staal saved Wallin's arse by scoring on the PP. But you know Wallin will never live that one down. He should get a Biron award for that display of skill.

I guess it is contagious up there, since Lehtonen has the same prob. They could be in some real trouble if he is out for awhile, I expect they will make a trade for another goalie.

Jeff Jillson available?

http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial...13/1003083.asp

Quote:
Sabres can't activate forward Adam Mair until room is made on the roster. Ruff indicated the Sabres would not clear a spot by trading one of their three goalies. "That's probably not a question for me, but I don't anticipate it," Ruff said. The coach was asked if a player would be waived to facilitate Mair's return from a groin injury suffered in the preseason. "In all likelihood, yes," Ruff said. "Someone will have to go. That's a decision we'll have to make. We'd be over the roster if Adam comes off (IR). We'll have to make a move."

All signs point to defenseman Jeff Jillson being the one who gets waived. Jillson has been a healthy scratch all four games and is on a two-way contract, meaning he'll be paid a much lower salary than the $833,910 he's making with the Sabres if no other team picks him up and he gets assigned to Rochester.
Since powerplays are so important now and we gave up on Novak, how about picking up Jillson? Maybe he can be a nice pickup like Van Ryn was, plus he's a righthanded shot. Just a thought.

I finally looked at this.........................................

What the hell was he doing? Why did the refs not nail him for unsportsmanlike conduct? Why has ice capades not come through with a trade offer?

Ice Capades made him an offer but he refused to wax his legs, back and eye brows.
