Skyreach Center

So when is the name being changed on the coliseum? Or if nobody else ponies up, will it remain known as the Skyreach Center for the year?

If no one else buys the naming rights, we should all pitch in a few bucks and buy the naming rights

I was thinking more along the lines of the Harnock-Flaming Coliseum.

Yeah, that's a surprise to see Labatt mentioned on that list... outside of HNIC, they don't really have much involvement with the Canadian NHL teams.

How much more money are the Oilers looking at as a result of a new deal?

I heard that the new sponsor could be forking over somewhere in the $3million range. That would be nice for the Oilers! I read this either in one of the local papers in Edmonton or else on an Edmonton site. But I do know I read this.

3 million a year? That would be great.

Makes Harnock sound like some sort of obscene euphemism, though. :p

If the Oil get 3 mil from the sponsors, then why don't we call it.....

"The Telus Ford Labatt West Edmonton Mall McDonald's Epcor Pepsi Toshiba Nike Royal Bank YellowHead Casino Wal-Mart HF Boards Arena.

13x3 is $39 million. then for sure we can sign Mike Comrie and have a little bit left over to bring the price of fountain pop down to a reasonable price.
