Out of all of them, I'd go with the Sandman as well, but he hasn't gone with any other heavy's, so it's still up in the air as to whether or not he can. I really like Norton's versatility, and I wish he was our 7th d-man. Flinn, as much as I like the guy, needs to be in Manchester still. Bust *** and earn a callup. Same for Parros, he's a much better overall player than Flinn, but he needs to be in Manchester and earn a call up. I think we'll see tonight, which of them plays to get a final audition, or it could even happen as soon as tuesday.
Agreed with Reaper, Flinn would have this job except for the new rules and the fact that he has only played one full pro season in the past 3 years. Part time with the Kings and two injury plagued seasons with Manchester.
Parros told me he expects to start in Manchester. I think Belanger makes it.
Sign Belanger to a one year, let Flinn play one full year in the AHL and re-evaluate the situation next season when Parros and Flinn have to make an NHL squad with 3 full seasons under the AHL under there belt.
