Immonen has looked good, Pro-ha has looked good again, Wiseman is playing a strong game...just had the puck slide off his stick at the end there, Lundy is playing real well (NEVER gives up rebounds), Orts and Betts look to be a tandem out there.

Yanks update

Yikes, just checked YES and the Yanks are down 5-1 at the end of 2 and Moose is out (Leiter is pitching). Ouch.

Seventh inning (or third, or fourth, or...) lighting, come on!

Lundy looks good. Good energy from the kids. Like what I've seen from Murray, Immonen, Hollweg, Prucha, Weller and especially Betts - he's got that long reach to break up passes on the PK. He will be on this team. On D, Tyutin smooth and also blocking the passing lanes. Okay, deja vu for Poti - jittery moving with the puck, and can't get his shot on net. Liked seeing Lampman going to the net when Nylander pulled up high. Nice move by Wiseman, but no finish. Prucha had a chance but couldn't lift the puck. Good hitting from Murray, Hollweg, Weller and Ortmeyer.

Yah. It's Weller on the left, correct? Orts logged a good amount of kill time too with Murray.

Great updates, sounds like Lundy is robbing some people.

Also good to hear that Immonen is making some nice plays, really hope he makes the team.

OT: Lee Stempniak (Jessiman's old teammate) is getting 1st line LW minutes tonight for the Blues, hasn't done much so far. Lalime has looked good for the Blues, Mietennen has looked good for the Stars.

Seriously, nice move. Had he made the easy finish, we're talking about Chad being on the team. That probably illustrates why he won't be.

Yah. You know, it was almost like he made the move instinctively, found himself in open ice and started thinking about it.

Chad Wiseman is probably a good guy who tries his hardest when he's out there, but to me he looks like he's gonna spend the majority of his career in the AHL.

Lundqvist looks great.... even a Richter or a Roy would've likely given up that deflection goal. No fault there.

I really hope Dominic Moore can be a NHLer, he seems to have the tools for the job as long as he can put it all together.

I think I'd like to see Kondratiev join Tyutin on the opening night roster, but I don't know if I want it to be at the expense of Pock. Yeah he's not perfect yet, but he's got some great flashes and I wouldn't mind sitting through some 'Drat's mistakes here and there through the season if it meant getting him more settled into the NHL level of play... and he's pretty good on the powerplay.

Not that thinking is always bad, but there's a bid difference between:

"Oh sweet I'm in, now I want to X" and "oh **** I'm in, now what do I do?"

Hard work from Prucha leads to a PP.

Good to see Immonen stand in front of the net slapping at rebounds without getting knocked off.

Funny how Nieminen is wearing #10.....and he happens to play a very similar game to the one of Mr. Esa Tikinanen

Great PP (w. the exception of about 10 sec) - Immonen looks GREAT. Prucha fighting in front. Great work at the point by Max (whom Doc has been calling Kondratja throughout) and, dare I say it, fantastic play by Poti to keep it in and get a shot at one point. Brodeur is the only reason the Rangers haven't scored. Brodeur looks great.

I think that was Prucha #58, not #38 in front there with Nieminen. Although they both ould have done it at different times.

Woah! Who was that with the slapper that just trickled wide?

Immonen looks 10x better then he did last game. Hes shooting now, carrying the puck better, just everything. Got a good low shot on Marty as well.

Last two times I've seen Purinton, he has pulled that "Turtle shell" move.

Someone please explain to me how something can be "a little bit" spontaneous. Ah, Chico - he tries.
