Preds AT Thrashers- 9-30

Gotta hope Trotz puts Vokoun in again to let him shake the last one off. I won't get into what was "wrong" in the last game because that was pretty much everything, so let's just hope we turn it around and lay the beating on them, this time.

I was thinking about going to the game, but as I am sick I think it's a no go.

I'm personally glad we got the crapped stomped out of us. I was hoping it would happen in one of the last two games instead of in front our home crowd, but I think it stirs things up a bit. Our preseason had been very successful up until that point. Our younger players can be under the impression that this is what it takes to win in the NHL when that's not the case. And our older players can always use a little motivation to start off a long NHL season. How we perform out of the gate will play a huge role with regards to our fanbase. If we get our wakeup call in the preseason, we might be more prepared when the real season hits.

You might very well be right. regardless, if they play a game in the real season like they played last night, they're screwed. trotz will ream their arses.

I think the plan was for Mase to go tonight. Don't know if last night changed that.

Everyone cheer extra loud for me tonight. I have to work again tonight. Gotta love working the finals for a calendar girl contest. (Well, at least the GUYS would love it. )

the official score sheet apparently missed the 1st Atlanta goal.

I can't believe 104.5 ....I even wonder if the Preds know...on their website they have a click on link for 104.5 link.

this penalty calling is ridiculous. the "old" nhl was bad, but this is much, much worse.

well I sent an email voicing my disgust. I dont know that it will do any good, but it made me feel better to complain a little bit.

we'd probably feel different about this if we were better than 2/20 on the PP over the past 2 games.

so what's the deal? Did Atlanta turn into a SuperStar team, or are we just playing this bad?

sounds like toots is wanting to make this team...draws the retribution penalty after a big hit, then very active on the forecheck...steals the puck puts a good shot on net with the defenseman with a diving block.
