If Ward doesn't play, I've decided to deny his existence altogether and stop worrying about him.

I hope Rangers dress Rullier, Hollweg, Prucha, Immonen and Nieminen. For the Islanders I hope they dress Godard and Asham. I hope there will be more hitting than last rangers islanders game and since its at MSG, I hope the Rangers dress their grit and tougher players, renney and Sather always said that we gotta make MSG a place that is not fun to play, they gotta prove that to the fans.

I hope he mix it up tonight, he should play feisty all the time, he plays better like that. He has to do this on every shift he plays.

Jamie Lundmark returns from a groin strain in tonight's preseason home game against the Islanders and will skate on one of the top two lines.
I like the sound of this, I hope he plays well and feisty, he has to take advantage

I believe Asham is still out hasn't played all preseason w/ a rib injury. You may see Godard. Defintely a better game than last time as there were alot of players still in camp. Both teams are down to the mid 20 range in players so you'll see the last guys in camp before the final cut. Should be fun gonna try to catch the 2nd period on my wifes 30th B day today gotta do nicey nice and take her out to dinner at 6. I'll throw the 1st prediction out there I think the Isles win 5-2. Satan breaks out a finally get on the goal scoring sheet with a pair. Hopefully not as many penalties as last time as hopefully the teams are learning how to play under all the new crap they have in place.

Petrs played all three games and Jamie will probably go with Rucchin and Rucinksy

Prucha could go back with Immonen and Nieminen if they are in the lineup. Im sure that will be his line once the season starts. They should continue putting Prucha in if he continues to give it his all and impress.

That means absolutley nothing. I would rather Immonen play in Hartford than have either 3rd or 4th line duties. Again I will state that he is not a bottom 2 line player. A player like him needs to play with skilled top 6 forwards. Playing him with Ortmeyer & Hollyweg accomplishes absolutely nothing.

i don't think there's a problem with starting immonen at 3rd line center. he'll still get plenty of icetime and decent linemates, and he can get used to the NHL without being counted on to provide offense.

then hopefully he can win the 2nd line center spot

There is minimal difference between the amount of ice time a 2nd and 3rd line gets. I think that 3rd line is equal to the 2nd line talent wise also. Prucha is emerging and the go to scorer on that line, while Nieminen will play rough both ways and adding a few goals in the process. I am willing to bet that Immonen would also see time on the PK and possibly the PP.

I agree, it goes back to the point of one too many free agent signings. With basically no room for Immonen in the top 6. At 23, and with plenty of experience in Finland, I would hate to see him buried in Hartford just because there's vets filling the role he is on the border of earning on the Rangers.

I think third line is an OK fit for Immonen. While he is offensive, he's got a two-way character style that is befitting for 3rd line. That's where you put the role players, i.e., players who grind, score, hit, backcheck... it's not like the 4th line, which is reserved for goons and raw kids. Plus, there's such a thing as double shifting, so I can bet we'll see Immonen with Jagr a few times this season.

And we WILL win tonight! Mark my words!

he played on the PK i believe with Nieminen. We will take alot of penalties due to lazy players like Poti and Purinton. oh and the poke check 2 Malik

Rucchin is centering the second line, with Lundmark (probably) & Rucinsky as his wingers. The third line will have Neimo & someone like Ortmeyer or Hollyweg as the wings. You still think that the ice time will be similar. How about the talent level?

The ice time will be relatively similar and it will be Prucha on his wing to at least start the season.
