Nah, he wasn't rushed. He played himself into a spot at camp. It's as simple as that. However, giving the Rangers affinity for veterans, it's hard to give him the ice time he needs to perfect his craft with goalies like Richter and Dunham in front of him. In Hartford he'll get in 50-60 games. Blackburn is still going to be the goalie he was touted as at the draft. There's no question in my mind.
