Astros can't blame the umps anymore, they had plenty of chances to put that one away and blew them. It should've been over with El Duque on the mound in the 9th, if they didn't chase all those sliders, he'd have walked in the winning run on 16 pitches.

The Astros have no hitters who will step up really outside of Berkman. Chris Burke has been great this postseason, he should be playing.

well, should the White Sox win this thing tonight I'll have to give it up to them. They have clearly been the better team thus far, and did the unthinkable, beating the big 3.

just a question. If this 1-0 score holds(which I really don't think it will), would that make Harris the winning pitcher?

lol, no.

Garcia would be the winning pitcher since he was the one who recorded the last out before the White Sox took the lead.

didn't think so, I always thought that it was last pitcher of record, not last pitcher to record an out, and technically Harris was the last player to be in the pitcher's spot.

If Lane doesn't get at least a double this is over.

A single, might not be over yet, but the Astros will be sending *** and crap to the plate from here on out.

take that Derek Jeter. As an aside, Houston must have the worst fans ever.

It was over when they decided to bunt. Why the hell would you waste one of your last precious outs and take away one of the few guys who could come up that inning with some pop in his bat?

I was not impressed at all with Phil Garner this world series. That was just a waste. Ausmus can hit the gap and even take one out of the park, why sacrifice him with Chris Burke(who aside from his heroics in the NLDS is not a power hitter) and Orlando Palmiero expected to follow? Stupid. Just Stupid.

I think alot less of Garner now than I did at the start of Game 3.

Congrats to the White Sox! Of Anyone else in the playoffs, glad it was the pale hose

Thanks for proving me right back in April when it seemed like I was the only one who said the White Sox would win the world series let alone make the playoffs
