Flames fan history: Grew up watching and cheering and never looked back. It's been a tough go for a lot of the seasons that I can remember, but you gotta love you team no matter what.
Favorite Flame: All time would have to go with Gary Roberts. I was at that game where he scored a hat trick after coming back from a back injury, wow that was a cool night.
Favorite Prospect: I'm fairly concerned about the state of our development system. If we have to choose someone, I'll go with Pardy. He seems to be the most complete player at the moment.

When/How did you start following the Flames?
First I have to start with a confession: I cheered for the Bolts' in the 03/04-final.
It was really hard to follow the NHL here in Germany and at that time a single pay-per-view-channel covered the NHL and they merely broadcasted Eastern-conference games due to the time shift. Therefore I saw lots of Bolts' and Flyers' games and therefore rooted for the teams, I was able to follow.
But everything turned to good account, when I was able to follow the World Cup of Hockey live in Cologne. I saw the Russian with Kovalchuk and their other high-calibre players, but it was Kiprusoff, who catched my attention and I began to cheer for him and as a result for the Flames, although Flames' broadcasts were scarce.
Thanks to a change in broadcasting rights in Germany and the forbidden streams (I hope Buffaload doesn't read this), I was able to follow the NHL on a more regular basis last season and since the arrival of NHL Center Ice respectively its European pendant I have watched all but three or four Flames' games this season and turned into a real Flames' supporter rather than a Kiprusoff groupie.

Easy one: Kiprusoff . Besides him, my favourite Flames are Regehr and Iginla.

Yahoo!-Fantasy-hockey was the reason I registered at hf, but I really like the development, the Flames' section has made over the last few months, so it has become my Flames' board as well.
When/How did you start following the Flames? 1998. I used to be a Leafs fan, but I got sick of watching that organization. Since I've lived in Calgary since 1985 I figured it was time to start supporting the home team. I haven't looked back
