Yeah i suppose you are right, they have a bunch of nobodys up front, Bill Guerin, Mike Modano, Pierre Turgeon, Jason Arnott, Jere Lehtinen and Barnes not to mention those young guys like Miettinen and Morrow who are really aweful.
To be honest..OUR FORWARDS SUCKED BIG TIME TODAY!!!
But it's soooo unusual for ou goaltender to save a game
As far as I can remember 2-3 years ago we often were leading 2-0 into the 3 period only to lose 3-2 in the third....WOW!!! I am so surprized...After our lackluser start I was expecting 6-1 beating...
I hope our horrible(not today) D won't let young Andrew's confidence down and in a few years we will be having nice tandem Raycroft-Toivonen...something my B's didn't have many many years!
It was pretty sad. Tonight was one game where the team really lost it for themselves. Dallas outplayed the Bruins for pretty much most of the night, but couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. And when they did, Raycroft was there to make a tremendous save. He had an incredible night, but the Stars never buried their chances either. Guerin alone could have had at least 3 goals tonight...
If this post is in reference to the Stars being shut out vs the Bruins, you really didn't look further then the statsheet. The Stars simply dominated them for every single shift, I can't believe how many good quality scoring oppertunities they created but it's been some, yet all were wide or over. And the ones that were on target, were there to be stoned by Raycroft. The Stars were so much better last night, but they just had luck turned against them. Losses like these doesn't worry me one bit, though ones like against the Sabres do. Anyhow, I could care less if we score 260 goals or whether we finish 1st or 5th, I'm already looking forward to the postseason (if they make it) cause that's where a loss worries me.
Anyway, I must have missed you posting how the Sens D and goalie sucks or how the team in general is such a faillure, afterall, they just lost from an NHL team missing 50% of their core players.
