You guys are slipping...

Come on, we pick up Delmore off of waivers and you're on our board like flies on ****, but we get Hulse in a trade and nothing? What gives? I know Delmore brought the ire of Pred fans on a nightly basis, but I remember reading not so great comments about Hulse during his stay in Nashville.

Where's Bubba playing at now? Boughner? We need more ex-Preds on our blue line. Maybe we can get DeVeries from Atlanta, you know how much we love slow, overpriced "phyiscal" defensemen

Love messing with you guys, see you at the top in five years.

I don't pick on Cale because he can beat me up and his wife is hott. I wouldn't mind having him for our 8th defenseman as long as he never played and I got to see his wife.

Five years, huh? Yeah, I guess we'll be waiting for you.

As for Hulse....he is what he is. And he's a much better defenseman than Delmore. Not very fast, but a reasonably solid 4th/5th d-man.

I think he's going to suffer under the rule changes, to be honest. Hulse's whole game(and Pete and Terry actually joked about this the other night) is clutching and grabbing. He got interference penalties when it WASN'T against the rules. He's slow, has a penchant for taking TERRIBLE penalties at even worse times, and shared the dubious distinction of being the co-whipping boy of the 02\03 team. There's no need to go on and on about it to Jackets fans...it's much more fun with Delmore...but I think they're not going to be thrilled with Hulse for anything more than the modicum of leadership he brings.

Again, it's all relative. Compare him to the rest of the BJs' defense. I fear he's an upgrade. And I still think he's a defensive upgrade over Delmore.

He's not better than Suchy, Richardson, Foote or Klesla. I would rather, if I were a Jackets fan, seen Aaron Johnson get another shot. Hulse is no better than Scott Lachance was.

I'd take Lachance over Hulse.

Can't wait to see Hulse fight again....

Hulse

Just when your defense looks like it might take a step up with the addition of Foote, and Klesla having a great preseason......

Klesla gets injured

You claim Andy "I only know how to fire the puck at 90 mph" _elmore

You trade for Cale "Bearhug" Hulse

Scott Lachance is still unsigned, too bad they made the rule that you can't sign players you bought out, he'd be good on the PP right now

I don't think Hulse or dElmore will see that much time really. There are six guys in front of them now, seven with Klesla.

Hulse was a salary dump from the Yotes. Chimera and Rupp were who the Jackets wanted.
dElmore will be strictly a PP specialist when he plays, which won't be very much judging from Friday's game. He won't pull a regular shift.

I think Brad Bombadir is still out there for the Jackets to pick up.

And hey, how'd you guys like the Jamie Allison era?

surprisingly, allison hasn't been that bad for the Predators. He doesn't get much playing time, and will get even less with Suter playing so well...but he's pretty safe when we need an extra goon in the lineup.
