Wow...

Brad Brown is the new Captain of the Wild.

No, that was not a typo...

Seriously-Brad frickin Brown-will be captain for October (are they changing every month? I dunno...)

I'm sure someone will post that lovely Bertuzzi-Brown pic

I cannot believe this idiot is an NHL captain-if EVER there was a true, clear-cut, 100% sign that parity is rampant in the NHL-this HAS to be it...

They are rotating the captaincy and Brown has actually been their captain before.

Quite the scary thought-he does not belong in the NHL at all, let alone being a captain...

I agree, but that's the sad state of the NHL today. Personally, I think Brad Bombardir should get the 'C' full-time...

The rotation of captain worked for them last season, so who knows.

I'm just curious if you've been in the Wild locker room? He may not be a good player but no one said that you have to be a good player to be a good leader, even though it definetly can help.

almost as surprising as Olli Jokinen being the new fulltime captain of the Panthers!!!

maybe Keenan thinks he can turn him into Naslund because of his good year for about half the season last year.

I'm not so sure about the part about him not being in the NHL but there's no problem for him to be a captain. He's a good team guy who obviously, atleast in Lemaire's assumption, is a good leader too. Since the Wild rotate captain's it's not that big of a deal...someone else will take over come november.

Except for March he was very good for the entire year last season.
