Looks like the A-train has made its first stop of the night, Higgins was the lucky recipient.

Good commentary from team1200!

Chara 1-0 Sens with Gratts in front. Theo looking shakey.

Eaves playing with Smoke and Alfie. Vermette with Havlat and Schaefer.

Mach9 gets a break out of the penalty box, but good check on him. THen Kovalev rushes the other way

Ray Emery sounds incredibly sharp tonight, making some clutch saves in the first after 2 giveaways from Bryan Pothier on our powerplay.

Neil on the pp again. Montreal taking it to the Sens a bit now. something we're not used to seeing. But Sens are on their heels. Habs missing some great chances they couldnt get a shot with. Emery solid looking. Pretty fast paced back and forth rushes. YOu know Bonk will get one against us tonight

Totally Volchenkov's fault. Blew the clearing attempt and then couldn't contain Kovalev.

Kovalev and koivu cycled so long against pothier and volchenkov, they eventually got one in front and banged it in. Again, Sens not clearing zone. Is it bad defense or the new league.

1-1

Pothier on the pk christ what is with Murrays love affair with him. He isnt an nhl defenseman he isnt strong enough. To weak on the puck he cant handle any kindof good forcheck.

Les Stroumphes are looking pretty good. This could end up being a pretty good game tonight.

So far, Mr. Vermette needs to start skating and stop watching people playing hockey around him.

Oh, Oh, Oh! I know this one!

3? Crosby got them all with his godly Nunchuck skillz. Or maybe he did it when he caught that delicious bass?

I fail to see why they choose to keep playing Pothier.

If we are shopping him around I would much rather teams see his preseason offensive performance rather then watching his play during the season, and seeing what type of player he really is, a bad one. (of course any GM that trades for a player based on preseason performance alone isn't a very good one)

The more we keep playing Pothier the more it is hurting us, and his trade value. Hurry up and give Schubert a chance!

I saw Brett Hull in St.Louis bank one off the high glass behind the net and the bounce hit the goalie in the back...then rolled in the net, so thats one.

No TV for me tonight.

I will not be elevating Spezza to "superstar" status until he learns to be more careful with the puck.

His bad pass lead to the sh goal.

he owes us one

They both got 7 minutes worth of penalties, with only 6:57 left in the period.

Vermette makes the game 3-2 on what could have been called interference.
