I dont think I have ever seen anyone mention something so often (well....Borro and the Oates trade maybe)....jeezus dude....how many times do you wanna say "look at me...look at me"

and for the record....your so called "burn" is completely misleading.....he may have asked how many threads on AO did he start.....but I think most reasonable people understood that what he meant was threads like this one and the chirp chirp type threads.....the threads you so called burned him on were all informational type with links to washington post articles about AO signing or impressing his new teammates.....none were of the comparison variety......

I think whats funny is you keep living on that....like you cured AIDS.....why dont you just make it your sig file and be done with it

Ovechkin needs to stop waiting for his team to set him up, and be more involved.

yea...I hate those guys that always seem to get open and in position to score

Yes I've mentioned it a couple of times, but only after being congratulated on it from many people in the original thread. Such as "thank you", etc. Oh, and once in this thread in response to EC. It won't get mentioned again.

in this thread.....twice

post #34 (before he posted on this thread...so how was that in response to him?) and #40

and in another thread you said "Do I need to get out my EC burner again for this guy?????" when you certainly were not responding to a "thank you"

Yeah, I think it's hilarious you think you "burnt" me. I also think it's painfully ironic that most Ovechkin vs. Crosby threads are populated by Penguin homers and Canadian hero worshippers slandering anyone offering anything but a glossy perspective on Crosby idiots or homers.

"Congrats" and "Thank You" for revealing my bias. If I'm a fan boy for being primarily interested in the only worthwhile story my home team has to offer this year, so be it.

I stand corrected. #34 was my response to someone who brought EC's name up. Sorry. Now back to your regularly scheduled crosby vs ovenchicken debate.

No,they are populated by Russian hero worshipers, penquin fans and Canadian worshipers(excellent guys) Of the three, only the Canadian hero worshipers and penguin fans can be counted on to at least be reasonable and call both sides of the card and give credit where credit is due.

All except the Canadian hero worshipers are excellent guys part, that's true. How can it not be?they support the right players.Major homer line there.

It was never supposed to be funny, just the truth.

But if i can have the funniest post ever, that's gravy.Because it's hard to have posts that are funny to mostly 17-18 year olds when you are well past that in age. What seems hilariously ridiculous(there's that word again) to them isn't so much to us older folk.

Crosby will get 60 assists per season, or more...

Ovechkin will score 40 goals per year, or more...

Both are damn good players. But you can never pass on a good Canadian kid...Crosby definitely for me.

This is exactly the kind of xenophobia presented as case against why the NHL should be a top 4 sport here in the US.

Too late man,it 's now official. When in doubt about the potential and talent of two players here, the tiebreak is whether the player is canuck or not.If you had of been here a few minutes ago you may have been able to stop it but alas.

Xenophobia? Relax man,lol.

you're too serious here. Have fun.

And who cares if the sport is huge in the U.S? It always comes back to this does'nt it? if it ain't happening there it just ain't happening.Fans in Russia,Canada,Finland,Latvia,Sweden,Switzerland,Cz ech Republic,Slovakia.............it does'nt bother us,we understand the greatness of the game and can't relate to this........"it needs to be popular in the U.S" stuff. It comes across as"we are the greatest" and it's hard to relate to because we don't see it that way at all. We love hockey and the people who do love hockey in the U.S realise it also.it does'nt need to get any bigger there then it already is.If U.S sports watchers want to watch, watch. If they don't,so be it.

Question: What happens in those rare occasions that two top players are Canadians?
