Why? Havlat seems to get more chances on the PK than EV

Unfortunately, against the Leafs last night:

the 5-3 goal was warranted, but the next goal after that was just a terrible breakdown that lead to a clear shot from the hashmarks. I will concede the 5-3, the other one was just a boneheaded mistake. For the majority, our pk looked really solid again though.

Pothier almost playing as much as Volchenkov? Volchenkov didn't have his best game, but he's still better and should get more ice time.

DOWN WITH THE GST!

the thing that really disturbs me about those stats is Pothier ice time He has been absolutely brutal.

I'm willing to pay for Schuberts bus ticket to Ottawa just so i don't have to watch Pothier cough up the puck or cover the wrong man or be out of postion or miss the puck at the blueline anymore. Hockey needs to keep track or errors like baseball.

Schubert is already in Ottawa as the 7th D-man. I agree, he should be getting some icetime. The only reason playing Pothier so much makes any sense to me is if they are shopping him (a good idea).

I'm a bit surprised that Schubie hasn't gotten a game in yet. If he isn't playing tonight, then they've got to be shopping Pothier.

I know they get their stats wrong sometimes, but that one is way off. Spezza gave the puck away twice consecutively on one powerplay, and then again just after, all on the same shift. All backhand passes actually, because I remember discussing it at the time. He had a good game, but a horrendous shift.

You're probably right. Wishful thinking on my part.

I have a feeling that this will be part and parcel of his play.

For every couple "How did he even know that guy was there!?!?", there will be a "There's no one there..."

At least it's exciting.

Keep in mind this thread is just for discussion of stats (Game Stats Thread), not to be confused with the GDT (Game Day Thread).
