Remembering Dan Snyder (article)

First, thank you to everyone who has stopped by to offer condolences. It is much appreciated.

Matt has written something about watching Dan become the player he was. I hope that this helps those who are unfamiliar with him get to know him a little bit as a player.

Ditto, it is fitting.

All the support to the Thrashers organization will continue this year

Very well written Holly and Matt...

For anyone who doesnt check out the SmirkinChicken, here is a FLASH tribute to Dan Snyder. Right Click and save it to your computer and open it with Internet Explorer. It is a kinda big file, but worth it.

Hey guys....from a Panthers fan who appreciates good hockey & the character most hockey players display both on & off the ice, this is a very sad story for all parties involved. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Snyder family, the Heatley family, & the Thrasher ''Family''. The story you had posted on the front page was just a sampling, I'm sure, of what a fine young man Dan was.

I really hope Dany Heatley can recover from this...physically, mentally & legally...and for Dan Snyders sake, I hope he fulfills his dream of becoming an elite hockey player in this league. Sounds like Dan had the heart & character to want Heatley to carry on!

Good luck on a good season!!!!!

Terry

I also wish to send my heartfelt condolences to the Snyder and Heatley families, Thrasher organization, and to all the fans. As you all know, fans from all around the NHL share this grief with you and wish the team well as they embark on a season that started with sorrow. May Lady Luck shine brightly on the Thrashers.
