Fleury has made good saves, but you can't expect him to make up for defensive lapse after defensivde lapse.

Maybe the Pens should try all getting drunk before the next game. That way they would actually play with some courage and grit.

Zone D doesn't work in the new NHL.

Still no fights.
Blame Forsberg and gagne

Amazing. We allow Brashear to plant himself in front of our net.

I don't care how big the guy is, move him.

I'm not blaming Fleury at all. I think he could be an NHL starting goaltender for most of the teams in this league.

But not for this team. No goalie could look even semi-competent behind this horrendous defense. Keep him in the AHL until this team gets there head of there butts, which clearly will take awhile.

No, it is not just you. They look a step slow. The Flyers are playing with much more energy and intensity. There is no way that this team should be this bad...

Defense sucks, and nobody is saying it but the offense sucks too. Making the worst passes and playing lazy.

Goodbye Edzo. Maybe you can be a coach for the Pittsburgh Predators, I hear their Bantam A team might be interested. That's what he's qualified for.

The Flyers are getting more chances on OUR powerplay than we are.

What the **** is this team doing? God I cannot take this anymore. I feel bad for Fleury...

Fire that ******* Edzo. He's obviously a bad coach.

We still have to meet NJ and Philly 7 times this season... oh noes!

On the bright side, maybe a thrashing like this (and could have been a thrashing in Buffalo, 6 posts) make CP see this team will be VERY hard pressed to make the playoffs, and is certainly not a Cup contender.

That Koltsov is not a top-6 player. (at the same time...somewhere in Kazan...Morozov nods )

That we have too few two-way forwards. Teams are getting into our defensive zone with speed, constantly.

Defense need improvement. Try from the inside first, call up Whitney and Welch. But try something.
(btw, am I the only one who thinks Tarnstrom looks better than Gonchar at just about every aspect of the game, except shooting??)

Mario looks kinda outta place there. Let him play LW, try get a valid 2nd line centre here.

Blah.

Malone scores. 5-2.

I haaaate losing to the Flyers.

I certainly hope so. The team certainly is not playing up to its ability and potential...
