What kind of internet speed do you get?

What kind of connection do you use and what kind of speeds are you getting?

I have cable and my upload speed is capped at around 110 to 120k a sec. My downloads are maxed around 500 to 600k. Around 400k is the norm on a download for me.

Just curious.

I have got a 1.5 Mbit ADSL university connection. That means 180kb/s down and 32kb/s up.

2691.3 Kbps, according to http://www.2wire.com/
who knows how accurate it is.

http://chi.speakeasy.net/ says:

2003-10-08 18:28:13 EST: 6288 / 6396
Your download speed : 6288920 bps, or 6288 kbps.
A 767.6 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 6396588 bps, or 6396 kbps.
Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

http://www.computers4sure.com/speed3.asp?Sp=5674.5 says:
Your Speed is: 5674.5 Kbps

these results seem really screwy.

200-300 kbps, really depends on the site though, Microsoft usually seems to have the fastest servers, which is a good thing considering how often I have to update Windows XP

I can get up to 450 or 500 kb/s from a good server. Usually though it's around 300.

I have cable internet, and I have no idea what my upload speed would be.
