Ville Nieminen Chant

How do we get an "ole ole ole ole, ville ville" chant going???? either after he scores (which wont be that many times, 10-15 maybe) or just after a good hit we can start singing it to get the team going. maybe even get msg to play the ole ole ole ole song with the crowd finishing it with ville, ville. SO HOW DO WE START THIS WITH OUT MSG FIRST????

Its too complicated and fans won't know to do it unless an instructional paper is sitting on their seat before the game.

More like "ole ole ole be happy" chant. Nieminen plays and scores like this, he will become Tikkanen.

because it wasn't Carolina.

Did you mean Calgary? Or Colorado? he was on both of those teams that went to the finals. Colorado was a winner and Calgary was a loser

Soooo, which one did you like, Kapanen or Nemo?

(welcome aboard, by the way)

Nienimen will not become Tik...

Tik was better offensively, defensively, and a much faster skater.

Back to the chant?

re-read FLY's post...I think that's the most effective method. You'd need to get to the game early - when the doors open. Then you need to stuff a program into each chair. I don't see any other way of getting a chant going, other than paying off the PA announcer.

Going back off topic from the chant . . .

You're absolutely right about Tikkanen vs. Nieminen. Nemo has some skills, maybe even as much as Barnaby (although Nemo's skill set is quite different -- more to do with finishing). Tikkanen, though, was a heck of a player in addition to being an aggrivation to any and all opponents: a superior skater, a booming shot and great on-ice awareness.
