The subject says it all. Surprising! I guess after the year off, his heart just wasn't into it anymore. I've never been a big fan of Brett Hull as a player, but I always respected him for not giving a crap about what other people thought and just speaking his mind (even if I didn't agree with him). Although, at times, he probably should have thought things over in his own mind a bit longer before he said something.
Well, I wish Hull well in his retirement, and I'll be glad to see his father's number retired again. I wonder what kind of deal(s) Phoenix will make now that they have some extra money and have a hole to fill? Has Phoenix played any games since we played them? If not, we've got some Predators trivia.

We should thank Hull because he was one of the players that complained about the obstruction rules for 5-10 years. The new rules certainly affect the Nashville Predators in a positive way. Hopefully Hull will return to Dallas and take a front office job with the Stars.
