Question to Buffalo fans.

Since you guys follow Buffalo, you should know more about your players, I picked Daniel Briere in my yahoo 1-year fantasy league, my question is, what do you guys think his point totals will be like this year? will he be a 50 point man? is he playing on Buffalo's top 2 lines?

thanks in advance

Im going to say 57-71 for 128. There's been alot of talk about him breaking the 60 goal mark, but I just don't see it happening.

I'd say around 60 points (55-65). If Ruff ever creates a Drury-Briere-Satan line I'd say 75-80 points.

Very possible. I can't really see Timmah anchoring the checking line or succeeding on a wing.

Thanks

Thanks guys, yea I like the sound of him being on a top line with Drury and Satan, that would defintly give him around 60-70 points maybe, but I think he'll be used on the second line to spread the attack, so 50-60 points is more likely, I just hope he'll have a great season.

Thanks

While Briere would excel on that line, I think it would make the second line almost ineffective. Briere's production would go up, but I think that Dumont and Pyatt's (Hecht when he returns) would see serious slips. Briere needs to get both wingers on the second line over 20 goals if we want to have a second strong scoring line.

I have Briere on all but one of my 5 Yahoo teams. I really think he is going to be close to the 35 goal mark with about the same assists.

No way he gets over 65 assists.

I think Briere will put up 30 goals and 38 assists. He has been working alot with specialist Rick Martin which is a definite plus

Come on, only 71 assists? Seriously, he's more of a 80-90 assist man.

I thought about going 54-80 for 134. But I think he's going to be shooting more toward the end of the season (to go for 60 like everyone is predicting) and miss out on 80 A's. But hey anything can happen. Maybe he'll get both 60 and 80 for 140.
