The Oilers reclaimed Stephen Valiquette, and sent him down, so one of the goalies is out. No idea which, though. I think Morrison is under contract to the Oilers, and Madden was signed by the Roadies, so I would guess that Morrison is going back to Columbus.

That's great news that they got Valiquette back because the team looks very solid at d and forward.

I'm personally not really high on the group of forwards. Not as much high end depth as needed IMO.

I agree. Wright, Sarno, Salmo and Rita have to carry the offensive load. I like the size of the d, but don't know about the skill. Luoma and Allen have to be the guys moving the puck on that team.

Morrison is terrible and the ECHL is where he belongs.

I think that
Rita Sarno Salmo
would be an elite top line in the ahl, and Wright's nhl experience and success in the Oilers' camp should make him a very good second liner.

Nate DiCasmirro was tried out at center for a while at the end of last season wasn't he? He's listed as a lw here.

Well If Rita/Sarno/Salmo spend the whole season down, they'll have a good first line. I think this team could make some noise is Winchester can step up and be a true top six player.

The "Transactions" report that you always see in newspapers, and on ESPN.com, for example, says that Antila was sent down to Columbus today. (Of course, they reported that it was the Bulldogs that sent him down. ) I guess both the Oilers and the Roadrunners weren't very impressed with him.

His back may still be bothering him, I think he can't even work out enough to keep his weight down.
