LaForge on Team 1260

I'm surprised no one posted on this, but Lowe and LaForge were on TEAM 1260 this morning, didn't catch Lowe's talk, but I did hear LaForge. Obviously, one of the main topics was the Heritage Classic, and he said something to the effect of "we were too nice to our season ticket holders". Does this drive anyone else up the wall? I personally was disgusted when I heard it. Many season ticket holders have horrible seats, and were given incorrect information about how many tickets they would be allowed to buy, eventually getting a heavily reduced alotment. He effectively said, in a monotone voice "we appreciate our season ticket holders...BUT". Again, what is this guy thinking, the season ticket holders ARE THIS ORGANIZATION. We're the only thing that's keeping this team here, and we're filling his pockets, not to mention those of the people in his organization. He didn't have alot of info right either, and in fact said that at the beginning, they weren't sure if they could get more than 20000 people for this game. Can someone say: Worst consumer research ever. I was shocked, LaForge has always come off fairly well, not sure what the deal was this morning.....

I haven't even got my extra ticket yet, I'm starting to worry. Maybe this team is getting complacent with Season Ticket holders. Or maybe it was a bad attempt at dry humor. As far as I'm concerned we should have gotten the best seats in the house for our support, then sponsers, then lottery winners. I know that may piss some casual buyers off, but season pass holders make a huge commitment every year, with not a lot of extras thrown in.

I am not a season ticket holder, and I have to agree with you. Someone who pays the big money for season tickets, IMO, deserves some special treatment and an occasion like this is the perfect opportunity for them to do so.
