I wouldnt put giggy over clouts, but Rolston deffinately should be on there over him. He goes on being the most underrated goaltender in the league.

I actually got a phone call from Gretzky informing me that I would've been the 82nd person on the list.

Needless to say I'm pretty disapointed.

They couldn't consider him. If they actually ended up picking him for the Olympics, they'd have to bring Dagenais along, or he wouldn't play.

It just shows the dominace of Canada! They could easily ice 3 teams and all 3 would bring home Gold, Silver, and Bronze!
Diving is in the Summer Olympics.

do you mean Roloson? if so, then yes I agree. I don't however feel Cloutier is a bad chioce to have on the list, although I cant see him making the team anytime soon.

I can't believe they left off Tie Domi.

He's on fire this year. I've been telling you guys for years that power forwards take longer to develope...

But hey, Thornton was left off in 2002, so I guess Domi will have to wait for 2010

So who are the best players not named?

Goalie: JS Giguere
Defense: Jason Smith
Forward: Jason Williams (currently the highest scoring player not selected), Cory Stillman (BlueAndWhite told me this one), Mike Ribeiro, Darcy Tucker

Wow...in addition to getting him a fat contract, it looks like Scott also got Rob on the list.

He meant to say being a ***** (which is a multi sport discipline consisting of elbowing people's heads, sucker punching and so forth) is on the short list to be approved as an Olympic sport (along with ball room dancing and 'google'ing).

For a player to be eligible for selection they have to be on this list... no adding players later. That's why there's so many names... gives the younger guys a chance to make it based on their performance this season.

That list is a good indication of why a guy like Marc Chouinard has no place on this list, no matter how trivial the list is.

Of note however is that the almight Shawn Horcoff made the 81 man list

Need to include Roloson for the goaltenders.

Also, you're going to get ripped for that last one.
