Best Arena atmosphere so far this year?

What team has the best in game atmosphere? I've watched a few games and so far my vote has to go to Montreal. Toronto and Vancouver would be in the top 5 or 7 as well but throughout the whole games in Montreal the fans are right in it yelling the opposing goalies name to go habs go to singing that soccer song, its just unreal watching their home games. I can't wait to get my 60' Sony LCD, surround sound package and High defintion receiver to enjoy it even more so.

I've been to 2 home habs games so far and it was awesome. My vote would go to the Habs.

Vancouver, hands down. Especially during playoffs. The only city where you dont need someone to sing the national anthem because the crowd is singing it so loudly!

The Penguins home opener was great. Especially when Crosby got his first nhl goal. The place was going nuts.

Nashville. Good crowds picking up right where they left off, in the playoffs.

Why you say that ... answer honestly then.

Ottawa and Vancouver are my favorite teams and i'm saying Montreal from what i've seen on TV. Vancouver has a great atmosphere too and I love how the crowd sings the national anthem for the singer but I still say Montreal after watching them at home to Boston and Toronto.

Exactly. Arena atmosphere barely comes across on TV, so unless you have been to every building this year, this thread is kinda pointless.

I can't say Ottawa because the CC looked and sounded comatose on Saturday, so i'll go with Montreal.

Hadn't had a chance to see Montreal play at home, game was off because of lockout when I visited in March, but their are signs that they love Hockey everywhere in that city.

I'll put in a vote for Minnesota. During their first game versus Vancouver the crowd was just insane.

Its Montréal. I went during 2 exibitions games this year, one against the Leafs and the atmosphere was great, the fan booed Lindros everything he got the puck, during the last 10 minutes of the game when Lindros was on the ice every one was chanting "Lindros you suc k" and he got a standing ovation when he got a penality late in the third. That was only preseason.

Lecavalier and Richards said during the playoffs that Montréal had better atmosphere then in Calgary.

Cant wait to go back to the bell center next week against the Flyers.

Definetely not Edmonton. The Coliseum is so...dead. It's as if we're saving our energy for the playoffs (which is the best atmosphere bar none).

I'll give a grudging shout-out to Cowtown though - it's 10x better then the empty masoleum it used to be.

Even though I am an Isles fan I have always loved Madison Square Garden, and it was electric tonight.
