Canucks October schedule:

- - - - - -

In what will be the Canucks biggets game so far this season we will be taking on the Avs tonight at the garage. This will be Bertuzzi's chance to change his play and to get a fire under his ***. We will face them 4 times in the next couple weeks, and 3/4 games comming up. This is going to be huge in terms of division rankings. Avs demolished the Oil 7-1 last night after a giving up leads on home ice twice in a row. The good news is that they woke up and it wasn't against us, the bad news is they could have a lot of momentum heading into the rival game and the Canuck killer (Hejduk) is back and scored 2 goals last night. Good news is that in past history most teams don't win both back to back games.

5-4 Canucks in a thriller

I believe that Jovo is a guest on the After Hours show... a sure win for the Canucks then.

Just keep repeating to yourself: "Win or lose, we booze!" You'll feel so much better.

Happy birthday.

I think Colorado will have our number in this one.

Avanlanche 4(Hejduk(2), Tanguay, Blake)
Canucks 3(Bertuzzi, Naslund, Cooke)

Bertuzzi and May will fight, Bertuzzi will let May get the upper hand because he wants the fans in Colorado to stop booing his friend Brad.

This should be a goal for goal entertaining game but i dont think it will have the "hyped emotion" but it will still be one of the better games of the early nhl season

Mr. Griffin: Shouldn't you be out finding fifty fat chicks instead of being here predicting losses?

Actually, I 'just' started watching bits and pieces of that show.

Brad May looks pretty good, it must be the beginning of the season. Nice streaks in his hair too.

Nice kudos from McLean about the 'Nucks defense.
He said he doens't think there is a better d corps in the league right now than Ohlund, Salo, Jovo, Allen, et al.
Sens fans: keep in mind, he sees a lot of Ottawa games, too.

On the most anticipated game of the season... this board is the quietest. You're all too nervous to type I bet.

Really high tempo in the first period there; I enjoyed it, and I hope it continues for the remaining 40 minutes.

Dan Cloutier made some really big saves for you guys on our three power-plays and is the reason you haven't allowed a goal yet. Peter Budaj should've had the first goal, but had no chance on the second one with us not clearing the front of the net.

Anyhow, as I said, really good tempo thus far and let's hope it keeps up!

Too exciting to leave the TV!
Great period, especially the last 10 minutes.
Couple of huge saves by Cloutier, but his rebound control (or lack of it) is scary.
Avs played last night, so I would expect they will fade as the game goes on.
Canucks really need to put the boots to these guys...we all remember how our last game against them ended.

Ohlund should've become an olympic diver instead of a hockey player. He's awesome

Other than the first goal, Budaj has looked pretty great.
