Definitely!
He's killing penalties tonight... and has been trying to set up teammates in every game. I've been very pleased.

Yes... for now. He's a liability on the ice and he's not scoring. He's being outplayed by Eaves and Fisher will probably return soon.
Unless Bochenski really likes bus rides... he better step it up.

He's not scoring, no, but I fail to see how he's a liability. I think his play away from the puck has been quite solid.

Giveaways off of lazy passes, loses battles along the boards, sporadic defensive hustle. Maybe everybody is being nice for now or it matters a little less because he's a forward... but this guy is "Pothier" on the 1st line.

I've really liked the way Vermette has played these past two games. He shows flashes of potential when he skates up ice with the puck. Really want to see how he plays as Havlat's centre when MH returns.

Sens have not looked good this game.

Staal on the powerplay. 2-1 now.

Antoine Vermette goes to the wrong guy and now it's a tie game after a brutal power play for the Sens.

I agree, its that god damned fantasy preseason that everyone is still pumped about. Eaves looks very good tonight. He clearly has more skill that Boch. Speed, passing, defensive play, and hockey sense.

All I here is "Bochenski is a finisher". Anyone can finish when you play on a Top NHL line. Vermette and Eaves would both play better than Bochenski in his place. He must be sleeping with Murray.

Redden and Phillips on a 2 on 1? There's something I've never seen.
Phillips put a pretty sweet move on Gerber too... shame he didn't score.

Don't see those 2-1's very often.

Commentators are complaining about Cane diving... and "Cole's c-r-u-s-h-i-n-g hit that sent Spezza to the ice"

Sens outplayed in the 2nd period. They looked like the Canes did in the 1st.

I think Vermette was on for both goals as Ottawa had trouble regrouping defensively after an offensive rush.

The Canes pretty much dominated since the second half of 1st period.

Their PP sucks so you just need to keep piling the penalities.

Who was the D-man who made the boneheaded move on the Cullen goal?

Phillips played his guy well but the other guy didn't. Normally you'd expect Phillips to be playing with Chara but the other D-man didn't look that big .

Kaberle threw a crowd, 3-2.

This could be the streak. Might be a good thing.

Anybody seen Heatley tonight?

That goal was Vermette's fault.

And Neil can't get it out and Carolina scores.

Gerber was outstanding in the 3rd. Good effort by the Sens tonight.
