Did Garrioch just call me a "worrywart"?

I haven't been called that since Grade Three. I wasn't even sure it was a word.

B.G's. Article

"For all the naysayers and worrywarts out there waiting for a part of Hasek to go creak or watch him turn into a washed-up old guy, it simply hasn't happened."

I must admit I was a little worried, and will continue to be until the Cup drives down Bank Street.

On a side note. Nolan Schaefer of the Sharks? Is this a relation to The Chairman of The Boards? If it is I say Ottawa trades whatever it takes to aquire "Board Blood".

Anyone know if there is any tie? Thanks.

Do you think the parade would go down Bank st? I always figured Elgin. Its too bad Ottawa doesn't have the same sort've central system that Calgary does. There isn't really a place for us to clog the streets without disrupting traffic too much.

I suppose the market is the logical choice, its just not a street.

I love Shaeffer, but I don't think we need his goalie brother digging in the corners.

lol, thats why I get you guys to do my homework for me. The goalie digging in the corner probably won't have the same effectiveness. Trade Havlat for him anyway.

Bank, Elgin, whatever. I figure it should be a continuous parade lasting 3-5 days. A similar pattern to that of the Zamboni flooding the Corel Center Ice. Loop up Bank, down Elgin, swing out to St.Laurent, zip around Barrhaven, back to Embrun, then Arnprior, Vankleek Hill, Dunrobin, Pembroke, Renfew and finsh up in Douglas.

Pack a lunch.

How do you carry enough liquor and beer for such a historic journey?

When you grow up in a place like Carp, it matters.

Where the Zamboni holds the water naturally.

That would cover me, but what would the rest of the guys do. It'd be an awfully boring parade with just me and the zam driver.

I think you'd be dead. I'm assuming that we're filling them up with moonshine. Otherwise, we can use camelpacks.

Alright alright, Kanata, Carp and Stittsville are on the course map now.

I've been up all day looking into the liquor question. That is a serious matter that should never have been left unanswered. I like the Zamboni idea, but at 100 litre capacity, that only enough for the driver and anyone passed out on the hood.

I say all the Zamboni's and Olympia's from local arenas, are loaded with various types of lickher. Start filling with Murphy's custom batch of moonshine.

For the bystanders, I know what to do. You'll have to go to Loblaws and get some large sandwich bags. We'll also need a lot of clear plastic tubing, that can be picked up at Big Al's Aquarium place in the Kanata Centrum. We'll need about 10,000 feet.

Each person can then rig themselves up. Loop the sandwich bags around a standard leather belt. Also line your pockets with the plastic bags. The next step is simple. Run the plastic hosing throughout all the sandwich bags on your body. It is the same idea as the clever beer can helmet.

Simple sucking should move the choice of beverage through the length of hosing and into the mouthal cavity. More sucking will be neede for longer hoses (as is always the case). Clear tubing will work best, as you can see those nasty air bubbles in the line, that sometimes cause a loss in pressure. Happy syphoning! We may have a problem with maintaining suction, for times when you may need to breath.

Hopefully someone will work out the kinks.
